We’re glad to inform you about new reviews of yrgo 2.2 that were released on two czech portals.
yrgo was for the first time introduced on the www.smartmania.cz - which is one of the biggest portals dedicated to Windows Mobile devices in the Czech republic.
Resmue: “yrgo has a big potential. It is a pity that no user’s manual is provided with yrgo. The only way how to found out how yrgo works is a presentation video. It is hard to find some of the features of yrgo in the application. Some kind of online help directly in yrgo would be very nice.
However yrgo looks like a very complex tool it is fast and reaction time is very good. We didn’t find out any major stability problems during our tests - except of the Today Plug-in gadgets, but their support is experimental only at this time. The cons list includes absence of Appointments gadget and too slow “running applications” feature. Some of the users would not be familiar with English support only…”

The 2daysoft.com is proud to present new version of our user interface software - yrgo. We listen to users opinions and feature requests carefully so we’ve implemented the most wanted features. We would like to thank to all the users that gave us a feedback that was hugely helpful for us. We believe that new yrgo will be more helpful for all of you!
The following change list shows you what’s new in yrgo 2.2:
- Features added
- Skinning support - the yrgo can be completelly skinned now! And of course - directly from the application. Forget on annoying XML files or whatever else. Just go to the “Settings -> yrgo ->Skin settings”
- Portrait/Landscape mode - you can switch between the portrait/landscape mode and yrgo will do the same. But there’s even more! Each mode has its own 4 desktops so now you have up 8 desktops available!
- Full screen mode - now yrgo can be used in full screen mode. This gives you additional space for your gadgets!
- HW keyboard support - search for your contacts using your HW keyboard.
- Switch the animations on/off - if you are not familiar with the animations just switch them off.
- Gadgets color - you can change the Gadgets’ text color.
- What was fixed
- The VGA version had some problems when items were painted. The VGA support is much better now!
- Today plug-in gadget - there are still some problems with several Today Plug-ins. Those problems caus that yrgo is not exited properly and the device has to be reset before yrgo can be ran again. For this reason the Today Plug-in gadget is still marked as “experimental and unstable”.
- Menu flickering was fixed.
- The “Programs” and “Explore root” items scrolling was reapired (it was too slow).
- The scrolling support was more optimized.
- What was removed:
- “Today left/right buttons” was removed from the settings menu because of its instability.

The first award yrgo has already received was for the first version of yrgo. Although it was mistakenly put in the wrong category (freeware) we are glad that we have this award.
We were 2nd in this “award competition” and we hope that for September we’ll be the first :-).

We would be very happy if yrgo receives any award. We would like to share all awards with you. If we will receive an award it is also becuase of you - your feedback is very important for us and we develope yrgo depending on your requests.

As yrgo is getting to be more and more known the web portals dedicated to Windows Mobile applications will probably write reviews. We don’t want to make you search on the net to read such reviews so have set up a new section for this. We’re very interested what the other servers write about yrgo so we search the web almost everyday to get us updated. And it would be pity not to share information we got with you!
Don’t forget you can even use RSS to keep you updated.
You can find plenty of comments about yrgo around the world wide web. We’d like to make it easy to get them for you. Of course we cannot promise all of them you’ll be able to find here but as we search the web for such opinions, we’ll inform you about that. It will probably be harder and harder to keep this list updated as yrgo will be more and more known - but we will do our best.

it is jsut funny as everybody is trying to write a blog. Lot of blogs are really useless but some of them are very useful - you get there what you want. In lot of cases it is hard to keep the log alive - to keep the blog interesting for the people. In 2daysoft we’d like to show you that we really care about user’s opinions - we stay in touch with the people. And this is one of the reasons why this blog has just started.
We would like to use the blog to inform you about all official releases, about what’s going on inside our company, about everything around yrgo that could be interesting for you.
We are not affraid of your opinion - you can discuss here or in our forum.
